This morning we had breakfast with Santa at the Y. Jacob thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast but was not at all happy about the Santa part. When Santa came in Jacob just stared at him and was intrigued enough that he put down his muffin. Even when Santa came over to the table he just stared. When it was time to take a picture with Santa Jacob staged a rebellion. We did get a picture, but Jacob sat in Mommy's lap NEXT to Santa. He did really enjoy visiting with the basketballs however. (In case you were wondering, Jacob tried to drink out of a water bottle and that's why his clothes are all wet in the basketball picture.)
On Monday we leave for Texas! We will be visiting Chris's family for almost two weeks. It should be extra exciting to fly on a plane now that Jacob is mobile...we'll let you know how it goes!
