Jacob is extremely cute and of course I love him dearly, but sometimes we have *that* kind of day. A little background: on Sunday, Jacob did not take a nap. He stayed in his room and played for 2 hours, but did not actually sleep. He woke up twice on Sunday night. At daycare on Monday, nap time was interrupted by a fire alarm. Everyone was fine and there was no actual fire, however it was almost 100 degrees outside. He slept great last night, but staged a nap rebellion again today. Which is how we ended up here:
at 5:30 pm - about 5 minutes before we needed to leave to pick up Chris. He simply could not hold out any longer. I actually got him in to the car and picked up Chris without his eyes ever opening. It was almost worth it however, when he woke up and saw Daddy. He was super excited. (The first picture, by the way, is Jacob reading the safety card on one of our recent flights - the first thing he does on any plane is pull out the card and read it!)
In other news, Jacob's little brother now has a name. Alex is doing well and will be here in a little over a month!
