Every year since we moved to California, we invite friends over for Easter dinner. This year, in addition to our friends, we had my sister and her husband in from Atlanta. It was a long day of traveling for them (and a 3 hour time difference in the wrong direction) but they hung in there and a good time was had by all. Even Jacob! Of course, his favorite part of the day was the bubbles in his Easter basket. He doesn't quite get the concept of decorating eggs and certainly not of rolling them, though he did get better as the game went on. Before the game started he kept walking up to people, taking their eggs, and handing them to other people. Sadly his first roll was a little traumatic as he ran after the egg and then stepped on it. Luckily we had put a sheet on the floor as a "playing field" so the damage was minimal. After that he switched from real eggs to his new ball. Despite his lack of egg-rolling skills, he was definitely the best dressed out of all of us!
