Our second adventure was a trip to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium, which was made extra special because Chris’s grandparents were in town and they came with us. We rented a minivan so we could all drive down together. Jacob made fast friends with Chris’s grandfather and a good time was had by all. Jacob’s favorite part was the “tide pool” area - basically a glass tunnel that water spills over ever minute or so into a tide pool. The tide pool has lots of cool creatures in it, but I think the rushing water was what held his interest the most. He enjoyed the touch tanks as well.
